Our Mission:

'To provide quality care and support to our practice population and local community which empowers them to improve their health and well-being'

To keep patients and staff save during the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic we have had to make a number of changes to the way in which we deliver primary care medical services to our registered patients.

If you have a concern about your health, please DO NOT hesitate to contact the Practice and we can arrange for an appropriate member of the clinical team to call you back.  We can also provide video consultations (via a mobile phone) if this is felt necessary.

Please try to avoid coming to the surgery unless you have a booked appointment or a member of our practice team has telephoned you with instructions when to attend.   All GP appointment requests are triaged by telephone in the first instance.  Video consultations can also be arranged where appropriate.  If the clinician feels that it is clinically appropriate for you to attend the surgery he/she will arrange this for you.    Patient information leaflets, sicknotes etc can be sent by text/email.

National social distancing restrictions remain in place to protect both vulnerable patients and practice staff from the onward transmission of covid-19.  Additional cleaning needs to take place between patients and it is necessary to limit the number of patients in our waiting room.  This unfortunately reduces the number of patients we can safely see for face-to-face appointments.

Face masks or visors MUST be worn when attending the practice.  If you are attending an appointment at the practice but have a medical exemption to wearing a face mask we would ask that you phone the practice to notify us of your arrival and then wait in your car until the Doctor or Nurse is ready to see you.

In line with latest guidelines we will continue to undertake some long term health condition reviews by telephone, unless the clinician feels you need to attend the practice, for example for a blood test or blood pressure check.

We encourage all patients to register for online services so you can order repeat prescriptions 24 hours a day/7 days a week.  Alternatively prescriptions can be ordered over the telephone after 2 pm.  ALL prescriptions will now be sent electronically to your preferred pharmacy - if you haven't already done so please inform the reception team of your preferred pharmacy destination so we can update your medical record with this information.

Whilst maintaining safe social distancing measures we are here to help and support you in anyway we can, so please do not put off contacting the Practice if you have a medical concern.
