Supporting Carers

If you are a Carer, help and support is available to you. If you are a patient of the practice, please let us know, as we have a register of carers.  There are a number of dedicated agencies and support organisations who may be able to assist you.  Please ask for further details when you are next at the surgery, or telephone and ask for the carers champion, who has the responsibility for supporting carers.

Somerset Carers Service

If you regularly look after someone in a caring capacity, the Somerset Carers Service can support you with advice and guidance. Caring for another person is very rewarding, but can be overwhelming and lonely at times.

Somerset Carers Agents can link to you groups & events in your area, to find facts and information that will help the person you are caring for with their particular needs.

For more information please visit their website somersetcarers.org.
